The NFL continues to do stupid things. It seems almost like they do not want to get their fans back. If they cared at all about the way their fans and followers felt, they would make sure that they ended these protests. And it is not the fact that they are protesting that is making so many people so angry. It is the fact that they are kneeling during the anthem. This kind of behavior shows massive disrespect against anyone who has served our country.
President Trump has called them out for this kind of behavior. We all remember what he said during a rally in Alabama where he used vulgar language to call them out for kneeling. And though many people think that this was too harsh, he needed to use this kind of language to get his point across. Americans will not stand for this.
And Mike Pence took that quite literally. He walked out of an NFL game today because of players that were kneeling during the anthem. This is what we need to see more of and it is good of the Vice President to do something so amazing for our country.
“While everyone is entitled to their own opinions, I don’t think it’s too much to ask NFL players to respect the flag and our national anthem,” Pence said on Sunday.
“I stand with President Trump, I stand with our soldiers, and I will always stand for our flag and our national anthem,” he went on.

When the players choose to do stuff like this, they know very well that they are making people mad. And yet, they continue without regard to what it might be doing to some people. That is simply not okay and their fans will not be okay with this moving forward.
Maybe now that someone like Mike Pence walked out, more people will start to do the same. Then the NFL will have to make some changes.
What do you think about Mike Pence’s decision to walk out of the game after the players continued their disrespectful protests? Do you agree?
